The best excursion to discover the Gorges du Tarn in complete tranquility, leaving the driving and logistics to your driver-guide. Half-day guided discovery tour (8 a.m.-1 p.m., English/French) of this UNESCO World Heritage site. This excursion descends the Tarn in a boat helmed by a skipper with the Bateliers des Gorges. Your driver-guide will be waiting for you at the arrival of the descent to head directly towards the Point Sublime from where the view of the Cirque des Baumes is absolutely beautiful. Finally, discovery of Sainte-Enimie, classified among the most beautiful villages in France, before returning to Mende around 1 p.m.

7:45 a.m. - Meet in Mende, in front of the tourist office, on the Place du Forail
8 a.m. - Depart from Mende towards to the Tarn Valley
8:30 a.m. - Departure from Mende in a mini-van with your driver-guide. After crossing the Causse de Sauveterre, we reach the Gorges du Tarn and the medieval town of Sainte Enimie. 
10 a.m. - Descent of the Tarn with the Malène boatmen
11:30 a.m. - Stop at the Point Sublime, a wonderful point of view of the gorge. 
12:00pm - we'll stop in Sainte Enimie on the way back to Mende
1 p.m. - Arrival in Mende, on the Place du Forail
